While this four-year varsity swim team member’s accolades abound, including holding 7 NBHS high school swim records, equally impressive is her work out of the pool. Serving as a National Ambassador for Texas for the Alliance for a Healthier Generation and receiving the Community Hero Award by Christus Santa Rosa and Rising Star Award by the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, Shayna Underwood is bound for great things as she continues to swim collegiately for the University of Arkansas at Littlerock. Graduating number 7 in his class, Tyler Buck will continue swimming for the Colorado School of Mines in the fall. Congratulations, Tyler!
For her work on the volleyball court, this next recipient has received awards and honors including Team Captain and Academic All State. Very impressively, our next recipient will graduate number 5 in her class and further her education at Texas A&M University where she will study Atmospheric Science and Meteorology. Please help us congratulate Shelby Edwards.
As a team member of the varsity volleyball team, this next recipient also earned Academic All State honors. Additionally, she has served in numerous community activities with her church and various schools and non-profit organizations. Graduating in the top 10% of her class, Taylor Coronado will continue her education at Texas A&M University to study nursing or work towards being a Physician’s Assistant. Congratulations, Taylor!
Our next recipient’s athletic achievements have taken him to other parts of the world including China where he represented the United States in the U.S. Junior Golf Tournament. As a golfer for the NBHS golf team, he was a MVP for the Men’s Varsity Golf Team and District 25-5A District Champion for 3 years. He will continue to play golf collegiately for Belmont University in the fall. Please congratulate Parker Buck.
